Creative Design & Web Coordinator

Elka joined VOTE’s communications team in early 2024 as the Creative Design and Web Coordinator. She graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in Design and Political Economy and went on to earn her master’s degree in Data Analytics and Visualization.

At VOTE, Elka leads the development of visual materials, digital communications, and website design, helping ensure the organization’s message is clear, accessible, and powerful. She is passionate about using creative tools to fuel movement-building and amplify the voices of people most impacted by the criminal legal system. Whether she’s designing digital tools, crafting compelling visuals, or shaping VOTE’s online presence, Elka believes in design as a catalyst for social change.

After falling in love with New Orleans during her time at Tulane, Elka is proud to keep designing, learning, and organizing in the city she now calls home.
