VOTE IS HIRING!

Archives Project Manager

New Orleans Chapter | Part-Time | September 2026–2027

  • Join VOTE’s team to lead a first-of-its-kind project preserving the history of VOTE and the Angola Special Civics Project, helping tell the story of one of the nation's most influential criminal justice reform movements that began on the inside.

  • Manage project timelines, coordinate partners and stakeholders, conduct oral history interviews, and help transform decades of organizing into a permanent public archive.

  • Collaborate with community leaders, researchers, designers, and VOTE staff to build engaging exhibits that honor our founders and educate future generations.

If you're highly organized, passionate about storytelling and justice, and ready to bring history to life, we want to hear from you. We especially encourage people impacted by the criminal legal system to apply.
