At VOTE, we believe that true freedom includes the power to build and sustain our own economies. For too long, incarceration has been used to extract labor, wealth, and opportunity from our communities. Now, we’re reclaiming that power — by investing in one another and keeping our dollars circulating where they belong: with the people.

We’re creating a directory of businesses and services owned and operated by formerly incarcerated people (FIPs). This directory will make it easier for our members, allies, and partners to support local entrepreneurs, hire directly impacted talent, and strengthen community-based economies.

Every dollar spent in this network helps build stability for returning citizens, supports families, and grows a collective economy rooted in justice and dignity.
